Welcome to Susan Anderson's  arts and crafts website.  My studio is called 'Moonwind Glass Arts'. (More about the name later.)  I enjoy etching and engraving glass, and on occasion craving wood and stone. 

Artist's Statement

Art should open the eyes of the soul. It should evoke forgotten memories and bring forth the deepest feelings of the spirit.

About the Artist

 Susan began glass engraving in 2002 after seeing the beautiful work of other glass artists.  Before  glass engraving, Susan worked in oil painting and pen & ink drawing with colored pencil. (See pencil drawing below.)

Most of the glass used is from recycled sources such as yard sales and resale shops. All glass is cleaned and sanitized prior to use.
